letting me know where you'd like to set up your station.
Also, if possible, send me a stock photo of the
location (found on the web) and a description of your
planned station, antenna(s) and maybe a brief description
or history of the devil location. Why a place has
devil in the name is not widely known and can be interesting.
Geographic or geologic names are fairly simple
to guess, as the "Devil's Nose" typically
refers to a rock outcropping or pointed mountain peak.
Also, send along the coordinates in lat/long.
These coordinates can be found on the USGS link
from the main page.
We will be operating
24 hours on October 21-22. This is also the Orionid
Meteor Shower so we'll have an opportunity to see some
fireworks as well.
DX participants
have expressed some interest, as have several prominent
pro-amateurs. Rumor that some EU's, still fuming
from their K7C greenies disappearing, might join in
as well...but maybe we won't let them hi hi.
